Was out with my wife on her birthday and took my Nikon ZF + 40mm/f2 and it was a delight shooting with it while trying to get used to the 40mm perspective from the usual 50mm, otherwise, the colour rendering of the ZF came out brilliantly.

We had lunch at a delightful little restaurant tucked on top of the Fort Canning Hill, while the food is not too fantastic, the ambiance is pretty nice. The walk up was nice with loads of foreigners gathered for picnics at the park on a Sunday afternoon was something I love.
Yet, from the short time of moving away from using Adobe Lightroom to Luminar Neo, it was a really painful experience. Buying Luminar Neo was one of the worst decisions in the line of the history of bad decisions because first, the application is so painfully buggy, you can’t edit NEF (Nikon RAW file), and exporting them to JPEG is most impossibly and painfully slow like dragging your ass across a floor of shattered glass. I will definitely NOT recommend anyone to use Luminar Neo even though the advertised features were quite fantastic.
Other than that, my wife was trying out the ZF against her Nikon DF + 50mm/f1.8 and it is interesting that the Nikon DF is SO light compared to the ZF, and I love it how when you pulled up the camera to your eye, and you can look through the viewfinder and see the subject with the DF, but ZF you can’t because it is a mirrorless and they have electronic viewfinder. Second, the battery life of the DF is SO awesome compared to the ZF, and lastly, just a personal opinion the ergonomic of the ZF vs the DF, it feels so awkward even with the grip on the ZF but on the DF, it is like a perfect grip and handling despite being slightly bigger.
Till then, will be testing out the ZF with the 2 other manual lens from TTArtisan and 7Artisan soon and checking out how the lens paired with the Nikon works out.
